A stiff upper lip can take one through many trials and tribulations. Not the stiff one of arrogance and close mindedness, but the one of quiet fortitude, the willingness to face the trials that come before one everyday and still fight on. Life is seldom easy for anyone who chooses standards out of the norm, but their life is filled with more substance that will survive the test of time. When we get up every morning and look into that mirror, we like to see someone everyone will love and respect, and the ones that do, they are the ones whose words mean the most. I hear you and shed a tear for your pain, but above all, I would like to laugh with you, because a stiff upper lip makes you look funny! hehe
